Have your Daisies earn a petal at each of these in-store workshops.  Cost:  $10 per girl.  Plan for approximately 1 ½ hour.  You’re welcome to bring snacks and hold a short troop meeting either before or after the class.

 

Considerate and Caring
Each girl will make three cards and two friendship bracelets.  Your troop can decide where to donate the cards (your local hospital, nursing home, etc.), or you can leave them with us to donate to the Cards for Troops program (they’ll go to our military troops to send home to their families and friends).  Each girl keeps one of the friendship bracelets, and then shares the others with one of her friends!

Responsible for What I Say and Do
Daisies will decorate a small tote bag that can be used to carry their belongings to and from each meeting.  Girls will also create their own journal “I am Responsible When…”.

Use Resources Wisely
Each girl will complete two “repurposed/recycled” projects.  One will be a useful item, and one will be an arty item.  Projects will vary depending on the resources available.  Let us know if you have something in mind that you’d like to repurpose!

Make the World a Better Place
Your Daisies will make a “Pillow Pal” for a child at Texas Children’s Hospital.  The small pillows will be hand sewn and decorated with felt appliqués and buttons.
