Papercrafts:
Bon Appetite
Recipe Book ($35) – You’ll use all sorts of items from Canvas Corp and “cook”
them into a “delicious” recipe book in this class. Bring a recipe to
share, if you’d like.
Materials provided, but you’ll need to bring your basic papercrafting

Card
Club – Bring a sample and kits for up to 7 friends + one for the shop.

Card Magic –
Die Cuts ($20) – Get more out of your supplies and learn
techniques to use on your cards and layouts. You’ll be creating three to
four cards

Valentangles ($25) – Create a sweet valentine as you learn to
draw a heart free-hand (and this isn’t just any old heart) and decorate it with
Zentangle patterns.

Jewelry 101;
Class 1
($20) – If you’ve never made jewelry but always wanted to, this is a great
place to start. (And even if you’re
experienced in making
jewelry,
this is still a cute bracelet!) Teri will introduce you to crimp beads and
toggle clasps, as you create this fanciful butterfly bracelet. All materials
included,
and tools provided for class.

Class 2
($15) – The lessons continue with creating a bracelet with wire and glass
pearls by making turned loops (like the kind used on rosaries).

($15 + M) – The last class for the month covers another fundamental – jump
rings, and also includes using glue in jewelry making. You’ll
complete
a antique brass bracelet with resin cabochon flowers. (This is my favorite project!) Most materials included, but each student
must provide their
own
E-6000 glue (available at the shop).
Tools are provided for class.

these Valentine hair bows for a sweet girl in their life? Create five bows; “Boa Beautiful”,

February Kids-Tweens-Teens Classes
& Events
Classical Art Technique ($90 for six week term,
meets weekly on Thursdays) – Expose your child to art! This art class will cover classical technique
throughout
the year. During the first six weeks,
the students will be working on a pencil still life drawing and a chalk pastel
rendition of that drawing.
Good
enough to frame! Homeschool classes are
divided by age group, after school class is open to all school-age children
(six years and older).

Kid’s Create ($48 for 4 classes in
February, meets weekly on Fridays) – This Mom-and-me class for 3 – 5 year old
will focus on arts and crafts and
working
with manipulative skills. February
classes will focus on sewing. All

Valentine
Crafts for Kids
($5) – Children 5 an older will make a felt heart pouch and a lollipop heart
flower in this come-and-go event. Plan
for
approximately
30 minutes for the craft. Younger
children are welcome, but will need additional help from a parent.
Children with the maturity
and dexterity to handle the adult classes are welcome to register for many of
those, also. Instructor approval
required.
